Kaumari Homa

Also spelled Kaumari Homam

कौमारी होम

The spear of Kaumari cuts through delay, false accusation and long litigation — invoked in fire for clarity, courage and a just hearing.

  • Performed for you alone — never a group ceremony
  • Muhurta fixed from your own birth chart, confirmed within 24–48 working hours
  • Free energised yantra, sealed in a silver amulet, shipped worldwide at no charge

The Ritual and Its Weight

The Kaumari Homa is a fire rite addressed to Kaumari, one of the Sapta Matrikas and the Shakti of Kumara Skanda. She carries his spear and rides his peacock. In the Matrika tradition she is the young, unhesitating warrior — the force that ends a stalemate. This is why the kaumari homam is turned to when a matter has gone to court, when notices keep arriving, when a dispute has hardened into years of paperwork and no one will yield.

A legal fight drains more than money. It scatters your sleep, your speech, your ability to think straight on the day it matters. The Kaumari Homa is offered so that the obstruction loses its grip and your side of the truth is heard plainly. Ghee, sacred woods and mantra go into the fire on your behalf; what the tradition asks of Kaumari is not vengeance but a clean, swift resolution and the steadiness to walk into the hearing without fear.

ॐ कौमार्यै नमः I bow to Kaumari, the youthful spear-bearing Mother, warrior Shakti of Skanda.

Why Devotees Book This

Devotees facing litigation book the Kaumari Homa for these traditional purposes.

Relief in Court Matters

Offered when a case is pending, adjourned again and again, or moving without direction — for a hearing that finally advances.

A Fair Hearing

The rite is prescribed so that facts are presented clearly and your testimony is not twisted or drowned out.

Against False Accusation

Kaumari's spear is invoked in the tradition to pierce slander, forged claims and charges built on nothing.

Courage Before Authority

Sought for composure in front of judges, officers and opposing counsel — steady speech instead of panic.

Obstruction Removed

Traditionally performed when documents stall, permissions vanish and every route seems blocked by someone's ill will.

Peace of Mind Through the Ordeal

Litigation is long. The homa is offered for inner strength, sleep and clarity while the matter runs its course.

Sacred Timing

Kaumari, being Skanda's Shakti, is honoured on the days sacred to him. Our priests fix the muhurat from your birth details and the running panchanga.

Shashti Tithi

The sixth lunar day belongs to Skanda. Shukla Shashti is a favoured window for the kaumari homam, especially when a hearing date is near.

Kritika Nakshatra

Skanda's own star. Offerings made under Kritika are held to carry the sharp, decisive quality this rite asks for.

Tuesdays

Mangalavara suits rites of courage and contest, and is often chosen when the dispute involves aggression or open enmity.

Navaratri and Ashtami

During Navaratri, and on Ashtami, the Matrikas are worshipped together — a strong period for invoking Kaumari.

What you receive

The sealing of the yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request a private, unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Kaumari Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

48-Day Anushthan (optional)

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

After it arrives

How to wear your energised Kaumari Yantra

The energised yantra is carefully rolled and sealed inside a sacred silver amulet before shipping. Wearing it is itself a small ritual — and even its timing is set for you personally.

01

Your auspicious time to wear it

Our astrologer marks the auspicious date and time to wear the yantra according to your birth details — sent to you in the email carrying your shipment's tracking number.

02

Purify the amulet

Dip the silver amulet in raw milk or Ganga jal for an hour before wearing, then clean with normal water.

03

Face East or North

Perform the wearing process facing east or north for maximum benefit.

04

Offer dheep & dhoop

Show lamp and incense to the amulet before wearing it.

05

Wear it

Around your neck or waist, on a thread or chain.

06

Keep the energy intact

Repeated offering of dheep and dhoop keeps the energisation alive.

07

If you prefer not to wear it

Place the amulet at your puja altar, or keep it in your wallet.

Questions

Frequently asked

The Kaumari Homa is a Vedic fire ritual offered to Kaumari, the Shakti of Kumara Skanda and one of the Sapta Matrikas. She holds his spear and rides the peacock. Because she represents the force that breaks a deadlock, the kaumari homa is traditionally performed for court-case relief, for justice in a disputed matter, and for strength against those who obstruct you.
The tradition prescribes this homa for relief in pending litigation, for a fair and clear hearing, for protection against false accusation and slander, for courage before authority, for the clearing of obstructed paperwork and permissions, and for peace of mind while a long dispute runs its course. It is a prayer for justice, not a guarantee of a verdict.
Anyone carrying a legal burden — a property dispute, a family case, a professional or business matter, a false complaint, or an appeal that will not move. It is also booked by those who feel actively obstructed by rivals. Qualified priests perform the kaumari homam on your behalf at our Yagna Ashram; you do not need to travel or be present.
Shashti tithi, Kritika nakshatra, Tuesdays, and the Navaratri days are traditionally favoured. Many devotees ask for the homa shortly before a hearing or filing date. Once you book, our priests choose the muhurat using your birth details and the current panchanga, and confirm the date and time with you.
The priests begin with achamana, sankalpa in your name and gotra, and Ganapati puja to clear obstacles. Punyahavachanam and kalasha sthapana follow. Agni is invoked in the kunda and consecrated. Kaumari is installed and worshipped with her mantra, then the main homa proceeds with ghee, samidha of sacred woods, havis, sesame, rice, herbs and flowers offered through the prescribed count of avritis. Matrika and Skanda mantras are chanted, followed by purnahuti, aarti, pradakshina and prayer for justice in your matter. Prasadam and an energised yantra are then couriered to you, worldwide and free.
Book online from any country on this page. Send your name, gotra and birth details along with a brief note on the dispute so the sankalpa is made accurately. Our priests fix the muhurat and confirm it with you, and the homa is telecast live from our Yagna Ashram so you can watch and pray along from wherever you are.
