वैष्णवी होम

  • Performed for you alone — never a group ceremony
  • Muhurta fixed from your own birth chart, confirmed within 24–48 working hours
  • Free energised yantra, sealed in a silver amulet, shipped worldwide at no charge

The Ritual and Its Weight

The Vaishnavi Homa is a fire offering to Vaishnavi, one of the Sapta Matrikas and the living power of Vishnu himself. Vishnu is the sustainer — the one who keeps things moving. When movement stops, when files sit unsigned, when a marriage talk or a visa or a build stalls for no reason you can name, tradition turns to his shakti. She carries the chakra that cuts, the shankha that announces, and the gada that clears the way.

Also called the vaishnavi shanti homam, this rite belongs to the Obstruction Removal family. It is not asked for the thing you want. It is asked for the removal of what stands between you and the thing you want. Ghee, havan samagri and specific dravyas are given to Agni while the priests chant her mantra, and the obstruction is offered up with them. What returns to you is the prasadam and an energised yantra to keep near your work or your shrine.

ॐ वैष्णव्यै नमः। वैष्णवी गरुडारूढा शङ्खचक्रगदाधरा॥ Salutations to Vaishnavi, who rides upon Garuda and bears the conch, the discus and the mace — may she go before us and clear the way.

Why Devotees Book This

Devotees come to the Vaishnavi Homa when effort is being made but nothing is moving. These are the intentions the tradition places in this fire.

Work that has stopped moving

Offered when a project, a file, a case or a construction sits stalled with no visible cause.

Repeated last-minute delays

For those situations that come close to completion and then slip, again and again.

Doors that will not open

Sought when approvals, admissions, postings or permissions keep being deferred.

Clearing the path before a new start

Traditionally performed before a venture, a move abroad or a fresh chapter, so the road is cleared first.

Steadiness of mind while you wait

The chanting is offered for the patience and clarity to keep acting rightly through a long block.

Protection of what is already built

Vaishnavi is the sustaining power; the rite is offered to guard the ground you have already gained.

What you receive

The sealing of the yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request a private, unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Vaishnavi Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

48-Day Anushthan (optional)

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

Who is invoked

Vaishnavi — the goddess of knowledge itself

Vaishnavi is one of the Tridevi and the mother of the Vedas — the presiding deity of knowledge, learning, memory, speech, music and every art. She is depicted in white upon a white lotus, holding the veena, a book, a rosary and a water pot, with the swan of discernment beside her.

In this homa, her grace — Vaishnavi Kataksham — is invoked through fire with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

Vaishnavi means 'she who belongs to Vishnu' — the feminine power of the sustainer, one of the Sapta Matrikas. It is a widely loved name across India, carrying the sense of protection, steadiness and devotion. Many families who name a daughter Vaishnavi also offer this homa on her birth star each year.
The Vaishnavi Homa is a Vedic fire ritual addressed to Vaishnavi, the shakti of Vishnu, who rides Garuda and bears the conch, discus and mace. Its significance lies in her role as the clearer of the way: where Vishnu sustains, she removes what interrupts. The rite is classified under Obstruction Removal and is offered when progress has stalled.
Tradition prescribes this homa for clearing obstacles, repeated delays and hurdles blocking progress — stalled work, deferred approvals, ventures that keep slipping at the last step. It is also offered before beginning something new, so the path is cleared first, and for steadiness of mind through a long wait. No rite guarantees a result; what is offered is the prayer and the discipline of the fire.
Anyone facing persistent obstruction may have it performed — students, professionals, business owners, families waiting on a decision. It is also offered by those born under Shravana nakshatra and by devotees of Vishnu. You do not perform it yourself; our qualified priests perform it on your behalf, with your name, gotra and sankalpa spoken into the fire.
Ekadashi and Dwadashi, Shravana nakshatra and Thursdays are the classical choices, with the fire usually kindled in Brahma muhurta before dawn. Once you book, our priests check your birth details against the panchanga and confirm the date and hour with you.
The priests begin with achamana, Ganapati puja and punyahavachana, then the sankalpa in your name and gotra. The kunda is prepared and Agni invoked. Vaishnavi is installed and worshipped with shodashopachara, after which the prescribed count of her mantra is chanted with ahutis of cow ghee, havan samagri, tila, akshata and the dravyas named for this rite. It closes with purnahuti, aarti and prasadam distribution. Every article is arranged at our Yagna Ashram; you need to send nothing.
Book online from any country. Share the name, gotra and birth details of everyone to be included, and we will confirm your muhurat. On the day, the vaishnavi homam is telecast live to you wherever you are, and the prasadam with an energised yantra is couriered to your address worldwide at no extra cost.
