Also spelled Ucchista Ganapati Homam
उच्छिष्ट गणपति होमThe tantric Ganapati of unfinished things — invoked in fire when a venture needs a door opened, a deal closed, and the road ahead cleared.
The Ucchista Ganapati Homa is a tantric fire rite addressed to the sixteenth of Ganapati's thirty-two forms — the red-hued lord who accepts what others reject. Ucchista means the remainder, the leftover, the offering already tasted. Where most rites demand spotless purity, this one receives you as you are: mid-venture, mid-negotiation, with unfinished business and unpaid debts. That is precisely its power. Nothing in your situation needs to be tidy before the fire can begin.
In trade tradition, this homa is turned to when effort is genuine but movement is not. Orders stall. Approvals sit. A partner goes quiet. Priests offer into the fire with the Hastipishachi mantra, seeking Ganapati's grace to loosen what is stuck and to make the merchant's path passable again. That is the significance of Ganapathi homam in a business setting — the first god of beginnings is asked, in flame and mantra, to open the way before the next step is taken.
ॐ नमो हस्तिपिशाचि लिखे स्वाहा Om, salutations to the elephant-formed lord who wields the hidden powers — may this offering be received into the fire and may my way be opened.Business owners, traders and founders book the Ucchista Ganapati Homam at turning points. Here is what the tradition prescribes it for.
Offered when a trade has plateaued, seeking Ganapati's grace for the next stage of expansion.
Traditionally performed before entering a new market, product line or territory, asking that doors be found where none seem open.
Invoked before signing, tendering or bidding, so that talks move forward and terms are settled without friction.
Prescribed when approvals, payments or shipments sit unmoved, seeking removal of the obstruction that holds them.
The lord of beginnings is honoured first, before the shop opens, the company registers, or the first order is placed.
Sought for harmony among partners, investors and associates, and for goodwill in dealings with clients.

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.
As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.
Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.
