The Ritual and Its Weight

The Ashwarooda Devi Homa is a fire rite addressed to Ashwarooda Devi, the mounted Shakti who leads the cavalry of the Divine Mother's army. In the Sri Vidya tradition she is the one sent ahead — the force that clears the road, carries the message, and reaches the place before anyone else arrives. Merchants, traders and those who travelled for their livelihood have long turned to her, because commerce is movement, and she is movement itself.

When work stalls, the problem is rarely effort. Files sit. Talks stretch. A deal that looked certain goes quiet. The ashwarooda devi homam is offered in exactly that season — to invoke swiftness where there is delay, and reach where there is hesitation. Ghee meets the flame, her mantra is repeated with count, and your sankalpa is spoken with your name, star and the venture you are asking for. What the tradition prescribes is momentum: that your intent travel, and that doors open in the direction you have already begun to walk.

ॐ अश्वारूढायै नमः Salutations to the Goddess who rides the horse — may she who moves swiftly carry my purpose forward and clear the path ahead.

Why Devotees Book This

Devotees turn to the Ashwarooda Devi Homa at particular moments in a working life. These are the intentions the tradition attaches to the rite.

Momentum in Business

Offered when growth has flattened and effort is not translating into movement. The rite is prescribed for renewed drive in the enterprise you are building.

New Openings

For fresh leads, fresh markets and doors you have not yet knocked on. Ashwarooda Devi is invoked as the one who arrives first and announces you.

Deals That Have Stalled

Undertaken when negotiations drag, approvals sit unsigned, or a promising conversation has gone silent for weeks.

Launches and New Ventures

Traditionally performed before a shop opens, a company is registered, a product goes live, or a partnership is formalised.

Presence and Persuasion

For those whose work depends on being heard — sales, tenders, pitches, client meetings. The rite is offered for command in speech and bearing.

Steady Cash Movement

Sought for healthier circulation in the business — receivables that move, orders that repeat, and work that keeps arriving.

What you receive

The sealing of the yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request a private, unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Ashwarooda Devi Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

48-Day Anushthan (optional)

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

Who is invoked

Ashwarooda Devi — the goddess of knowledge itself

Ashwarooda Devi is one of the Tridevi and the mother of the Vedas — the presiding deity of knowledge, learning, memory, speech, music and every art. She is depicted in white upon a white lotus, holding the veena, a book, a rosary and a water pot, with the swan of discernment beside her.

In this homa, her grace — Ashwarooda Devi Kataksham — is invoked through fire with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

The Ashwarooda Devi Homa is a Vedic fire ritual offered to Ashwarooda Devi, the horse-mounted Shakti who commands the cavalry of the Divine Mother's forces. She represents swiftness, reach and the clearing of obstacles on the road ahead. Because trade and enterprise depend on movement — of goods, of talks, of money — the rite has long been associated with business. Offerings are made into the consecrated fire while her mantra is chanted with count, and your sankalpa names you, your star and the venture you are asking for.
The tradition prescribes this homa for business growth, for new opportunities and openings, for movement in deals that have stalled, and for the launch of a new venture or partnership. It is also undertaken for confidence and command in speech — useful to those whose work turns on pitching, negotiating and closing. The rite is an offering and a prayer, not a guarantee of any particular result.
Business owners, founders, traders, commission agents, contractors, consultants and sales professionals commonly book the ashwarooda devi homam. It suits anyone opening a new venture, entering a new market, or waiting on a decision that will not come. Partners and family members may be included in the sankalpa. There is no restriction of gender, age or country — you book online and the priests perform on your behalf.
Fridays, Ashwini nakshatra, and Shukla Paksha days such as Tritiya and Panchami are favoured, as are the nights of Navaratri. Many devotees also time it to a business milestone — a launch, a registration, a tender date, the start of a financial year. Share your birth details when you book and our panchang team will fix the muhurat and confirm the date and time with you.
The priests begin with achamana, Ganapati puja and punyahavachana, then take the sankalpa in your name, nakshatra and gotra along with your stated purpose. Kalasha sthapana and avahana invite Ashwarooda Devi into the vessel and the kunda. Agni is kindled by the prescribed method and offerings follow with each repetition of her mantra — ghee, samidha, havis, red flowers, sesame, grains, honey and fruit. Purnahuti closes the fire, followed by aarti, prarthana and distribution of prasadam. You watch the whole rite by live telecast.
Choose the homa on this page, select a package, and enter the name, birth star and gotra of everyone to be included, along with your sankalpa. We confirm the muhurat and send you the live telecast link before the ritual begins. Qualified priests perform it at our Yagna Ashram in Coimbatore on your behalf — you need not travel or attend. Prasadam and an energised yantra are couriered to your address anywhere in the world, free.
