Karya Siddhi Homa

Also spelled Karya Siddhi Homam

कार्य सिद्धि होम

For the file that never moves, the answer that never comes — a fire lit so the road ahead opens and your work reaches its end.

  • Performed for you alone — never a group ceremony
  • Muhurta fixed from your own birth chart, confirmed within 24–48 working hours
  • Free energised yantra, sealed in a silver amulet, shipped worldwide at no charge

The Ritual and Its Weight

Karya means the work you have taken up. Siddhi means its completion. The Karya Siddhi Homa is offered when the work is right but the road is blocked — the sanction that sits unsigned, the offer that never arrives, the venture that starts again and again and gets nowhere. Our tradition reads such stalling not as bad luck but as karya vighna: obstruction gathered around an effort. Fire is the oldest remedy for it. What is offered into Agni is carried straight to the deity, and the path is asked to clear.

This is a Maha homa, and it is built in two movements. Ganapati is invoked first, as vighna-harta, to lift what blocks the beginning — this is the portion devotees know as the karya siddhi ganapathi homam. Then Karya Siddhi Hanuman is invoked, the one who crossed an ocean because Rama's work required it, to carry the effort through to its finish. Our priests perform the rite at AstroBhava's Yagna Ashram in your name and with your sankalpa. You watch the fire live from wherever you are, and prasadam with an energised yantra reaches your door.

मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम् । वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥ I take refuge in the son of the wind — swift as thought, equal to the wind in speed, master of his senses, foremost among the wise, chief of the vanara host and messenger of Rama.

Why Devotees Book This

Devotees come to the karya siddhi homam when effort alone has stopped working. These are the concerns the tradition prescribes it for.

Work that has stalled

Offered when a project, application or plan has gone still for no reason you can name, and you want the block itself addressed.

Repeated delays

For approvals, papers, permissions and decisions that keep sliding — the rite is performed to ask that the sequence move in order.

Before a new beginning

Traditionally offered at the start of a venture, a build, a move or a course of study, so the beginning is made under Ganapati's grace.

Obstacles from unseen quarters

When hurdles seem to come from outside your effort — friction, opposition, plans undone at the last step — Hanuman is invoked as protector of the work.

Courage to persist

The karya siddhi pooja is sought for steadiness of mind: to keep acting with clarity while a long matter is still unresolved.

Career and enterprise matters

Booked by those whose livelihood, promotion or business expansion has been held up, seeking the removal of what obstructs progress.

What a Maha Homa is

Not every fire ritual is performed at the same scale. A Maha Homa is our largest form — more priests, a longer fire, and the complete chanting sequence the rite prescribes rather than an abridged one. This is what that means in practice.

Priests5 or 10Chanting in unison, never in rotation
The fire burnsApprox. 2 hoursFrom the sankalpa to the final aarti
ChantedIn fullThe complete sequence the rite calls for, not an excerpt
TelecastEvery minuteNothing is performed off camera

A Maha Homa is performed for one devotee and their named family, the same as any homa we conduct. What the scale changes is the weight of the offering — ten trained voices holding one hymn for two hours is a different undertaking from one voice for an hour, and it is reserved for the intentions that warrant it.

Sacred Timing

Any day a devotee's need is urgent is a fit day for this fire. Where you can choose, our priests favour these.

Tuesdays and Saturdays

The days held sacred to Hanuman. Most Karya Siddhi Homa sankalpas at our Yagna Ashram are set on these, in the morning hours.

Moola nakshatra

Hanuman's birth star, considered especially fitting for invoking him as the one who completes the appointed task.

Hanuman Jayanti and Sankashti Chaturthi

Hanuman Jayanti for the deity's own day; Sankashti Chaturthi for the Ganapati portion that opens the rite.

Before a venture begins

On a muhurat chosen just ahead of a signing, a launch, an interview, a house-warming or the filing of an important matter.

What you receive

The sealing of the yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request a private, unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Karya Siddhi Hanuman Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

48-Day Anushthan (optional)

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

Who is invoked

Karya Siddhi Hanuman — the goddess of knowledge itself

Karya Siddhi Hanuman is one of the Tridevi and the mother of the Vedas — the presiding deity of knowledge, learning, memory, speech, music and every art. She is depicted in white upon a white lotus, holding the veena, a book, a rosary and a water pot, with the swan of discernment beside her.

In this homa, her grace — Karya Siddhi Hanuman Kataksham — is invoked through fire with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

The Karya Siddhi Yantra is an inscribed metal plate carrying the seed syllables and geometry associated with the completion of undertakings. It is not an ornament — it is treated as a seat for the deity's presence. Ours is placed beside the fire through the homa and energised by the mantras chanted over it, then couriered to you with your prasadam.
The most widely chanted is the dhyana shloka "Manojavam maruta-tulya-vegam, jitendriyam buddhimatam varishtham, vatatmajam vanara-yutha-mukhyam, shri-rama-dutam sharanam prapadye" — I take refuge in the wind's son, swift as thought, master of his senses, Rama's messenger. Devotees also repeat the simple bija-free form "Om Sri Hanumate Namah". Both are chanted in the homa, and the same words are what people search for as karya siddhi hanuman mantra lyrics in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and English — the syllables do not change with the script.
Keep it in your puja place or facing east in your work room, on a clean cloth, not on the bare floor. Wipe it with a soft cloth, offer kumkum or sandal paste, light a lamp, and chant the Hanuman mantra before you begin the day's work. Do not let it lie among ordinary objects. The related karya siddhi hanuman coconut pooja rules that householders follow — a whole unbroken coconut offered on a Tuesday or Saturday, after bathing, with the sankalpa spoken aloud — may be observed alongside it at home.
It is a Maha-tier fire ritual for obstruction removal. Ganapati is invoked to clear what blocks the beginning of a task, and Karya Siddhi Hanuman to carry it through to completion. Its significance lies in that pairing: the tradition treats a stalled effort as something to be worked on at its root, not merely pushed harder, and fire is the medium by which the request is carried.
Among the karya siddhi homam benefits the tradition names: the loosening of delays around approvals and decisions, protection for work already under way, an auspicious opening for new ventures, relief from repeated last-step failures, and steadiness of mind while a matter remains unresolved. The rite is performed as a prayer, and its fruit rests with the deity.
Anyone whose work has come to a halt — students awaiting results or admissions, professionals held up in career matters, families with property or legal papers pending, and business owners whose plans keep slipping. It is also offered by those about to begin something important. The homa itself is performed by our qualified priests on your behalf; you need only give your name, nakshatra and sankalpa.
Tuesdays and Saturdays in the morning hours are most favoured, and Moola nakshatra is especially fitting for Hanuman. Hanuman Jayanti and Sankashti Chaturthi are strong occasions. If your matter is time-bound, our team will fix a muhurat close to the date that concerns you.
The priests begin with achamana, Ganapati puja and the sankalpa taken in your name, gotra and nakshatra. Punyahavachanam and kalasha sthapana follow, then Agni is invoked in the kunda. Ganapati Atharvashirsha and the Hanuman mantras are chanted with ahutis of ghee, samagri, sesame, jaggery, navadhanya, dry fruits and the prescribed herbs and homa woods. Betel leaves, vastra, flowers and the traditional offering of vada mala to Hanuman are made. The rite closes with purnahuti, deepa aradhana, prasadam distribution and the energising of your yantra. Every article is arranged at our Yagna Ashram — you need to send nothing.
Book online from any country on this page. Give your name, gotra if you know it, birth star and the sankalpa you wish spoken. Our team confirms your muhurat and sends the live telecast link, so you can watch the fire wherever you are. Afterwards, prasadam and the energised yantra are couriered to your address worldwide, free of shipping cost.
