  • Free energised yantra, sealed in a silver amulet, shipped worldwide at no charge

The Ritual and Its Weight

The Subramanya Homa is a fire offering to Skanda, the young commander of the celestial armies, who was born to end a conflict no one else could end. Ghee, samit wood, honey, and offerings sacred to him are given to the flame while his mantras are chanted with count. In the Vedic view, a legal dispute is a battle fought with words instead of weapons — and Subramanya is the deity invoked when a righteous side needs strength, sharpness of speech and the will to keep standing.

Devotees turn to this homa when a case has stalled, when hearings keep shifting, when statements are twisted, or when an opponent's pressure feels heavier than the facts. The rite does not ask for revenge. It asks that dharma be seen clearly, that your own mind stay steady in the courtroom, and that obstruction placed in your path be burnt away. At AstroBhava the homa is performed by qualified priests at our Yagna Ashram on your behalf, telecast live to you wherever you are — you take sankalpa in your own name and watch the fire receive it.

ॐ शरवणभवाय नमः ॥ ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महासेनाय धीमहि । तन्नो षण्मुखः प्रचोदयात् ॥ Salutations to the one born in the reed-grove of Saravana; may we know that supreme being, may we meditate upon the great commander of armies, and may the six-faced Lord illumine and impel us.

Why Devotees Book This

Among the subramanya homam benefits recorded in tradition, these are the ones devotees carrying a case most often seek. The rite is offered as a prayer, not a promise.

Strength in a Pending Case

Offered when a matter is before a court or tribunal, asking that the true position be heard and that dharma stand where it should.

Movement Where There Is Delay

Prescribed when hearings are repeatedly postponed and files sit unmoved, praying for the obstruction on the path to loosen.

Clear Speech Under Pressure

Subramanya is invoked for command over words — for calm, exact statements before a judge, an officer or a mediating panel.

Relief from Hostile Intent

Among the subramanya swamy pooja benefits named in the tradition is protection from those who scheme against a righteous person.

Courage Instead of Fear

Litigation wears the mind down. The homa is offered so that fear, sleeplessness and self-doubt do not decide your case for you.

Peace in the Family Through It

Property, inheritance and matrimonial disputes strain households. The rite prays for settlement without lasting bitterness.

Sacred Timing

Subramanya's own days carry the strongest resonance for this homa. Our priests fix a muhurat from these windows, and align it to your birth details where you share them.

Shashthi Tithi

The sixth lunar day is Skanda's tithi. Skanda Sashti after Deepavali is the most sought window of the year for this homa, especially for a case at a decisive stage.

Krittika and Vishakha Nakshatra

Both stars are held sacred to Subramanya. Vaikasi Visakam and Thai Poosam are traditionally chosen for offerings seeking victory in a righteous contest.

Tuesday, in the Bright Fortnight

Tuesday carries the martial current suited to disputes. Shukla paksha Tuesdays are favoured when a matter is being newly filed or freshly argued.

Before a Listed Hearing

Many devotees book the homa in the days preceding a hearing, judgement date or arbitration sitting, so the sankalpa is fresh when they walk in.

What you receive

The sealing of the yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request a private, unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Subramanya Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

48-Day Anushthan (optional)

Daily temple worship for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link visible only to you.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

Who is invoked

Subramanya — the goddess of knowledge itself

Subramanya is one of the Tridevi and the mother of the Vedas — the presiding deity of knowledge, learning, memory, speech, music and every art. She is depicted in white upon a white lotus, holding the veena, a book, a rosary and a water pot, with the swan of discernment beside her.

In this homa, her grace — Subramanya Kataksham — is invoked through fire with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

Bathe, face east, and set Subramanya's image or a Vel before you with a lit ghee lamp. Offer water, sandal paste, red or orange flowers, and any fruit — banana is dear to him. Chant Om Saravanabhavaya Namah 108 times on a rudraksha or lotus-seed mala, then read the Subrahmanya Ashtottaram or Kanda Shashti Kavacham if you know it. Offer jaggery or panchamrita as naivedya, show camphor, and place your prayer for your case plainly before him. This daily pooja is your own practice; the homa is a fire rite with kalasha, agni and mantra count, and is done for you by qualified priests.
It is a Vedic fire ritual in which offerings are made to Lord Subramanya — Skanda, Muruga, Shanmukha — while his mantras are chanted a fixed number of times. He is the deity of righteous war, and by extension of every contest where truth must prevail over manipulation. That is why the rite is placed under Legal Issues: it is traditionally performed for those carrying a court case, a property dispute or a false accusation, asking that dharma be recognised and that the devotee's own resolve not break.
Tradition prescribes it for relief in pending litigation, for movement in matters that keep getting adjourned, for clarity and command in speech when you must present your side, for protection from hostile intent, and for steadiness of mind through a long dispute. Devotees also offer it before filing a case, before a judgement date, and when a family property matter threatens relationships. These are the purposes the rite is offered for, not outcomes anyone can guarantee.
The sankalpa is taken in your name — you are the yajamana, whether you are the petitioner, the respondent, or a parent or spouse praying for someone in a case. The chanting and the offerings into agni are done by qualified priests trained in Skanda upasana. You do not need to travel or fast; you watch the live telecast, hold your intention, and receive the prasadam and energised yantra at your address.
Shashthi tithi is foremost, and Skanda Sashti is the peak of the year. Krittika and Vishakha nakshatras, Thai Poosam, Vaikasi Visakam, and Tuesdays in the bright fortnight are all favoured. Many devotees choose a date shortly before a listed hearing. Share your birth details and your hearing date at booking and our priests will fix a suitable muhurat and confirm it to you.
The subramanya homa procedure follows the classical order: purification and Ganapati worship, sankalpa in your name and gotra, kalasha sthapana, invocation of Subramanya with his Vel, Agni pratishtha and navagraha prasadana, then the main ahutis with the Saravanabhava mantra and the Shanmukha Gayatri, followed by Ashtottara archana, Purnahuti, deepa aradhana and blessings. Samagri includes ghee, palasha and other prescribed samit, navadhanya, honey, jaggery, sesame, red and orange flowers, fruits, camphor and sacred water. Our ashram arranges everything — you need send nothing.
Choose the package on this page and enter your name, gotra, birth details and, if relevant, your case or hearing date. The subramanya homam cost is displayed automatically for your country, so nothing is left for you to work out. We confirm your muhurat, send the live telecast link before the homa begins, and courier the prasadam and energised yantra to you anywhere in the world at no extra charge. If you want the subramanya homa mantra to chant along, our team can send the lyrics in Telugu, Kannada or English transliteration — the subramanya homa mantra in kannada script is a common request and we are happy to provide it.
