Also spelled Hanuman Homam
हनुमान् होमम्The fire of the son of the wind, kindled on your behalf — a wall of protection raised around your name, your house, your people.
The Hanuman Homa is a fire offering to Hanuman, the deity the tradition turns to first when something unseen presses on a household. Ghee, sesame, vada, betel and specific herbs are offered into the kunda while the Hanuman mantras and Sundara Kanda verses are chanted over the flame. Your name, your nakshatra and your gotra are spoken into each round of offerings, so the rite is tied to you and not to a general prayer.
Scripture places Hanuman at the boundary — he crosses the ocean, enters the enemy's city, and returns unharmed. That is why the hanuman homam is prescribed against evil eye, drishti, abhichara, psychic disturbance and the vague heaviness that settles on a home for no reason anyone can name. The tradition does not ask you to fight what you cannot see. It asks you to place a guardian at the door and go back to your work.
मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम् । वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥ Manojavaṁ mārutatulyavegaṁ jitendriyaṁ buddhimatāṁ variṣṭham । Vātātmajaṁ vānarayūthamukhyaṁ śrīrāmadūtaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye ॥ I take refuge in the messenger of Rama — swift as thought, rushing like the wind, master of his senses, foremost among the wise, son of the wind god and chief of the vanara host.Devotees who search for hanuman homam benefits are usually describing one of these situations. Each line is what the tradition prescribes the rite for.
Offered when drishti is suspected — after sudden praise, public exposure, or an unexplained turn in a home that was running well.
The rite is traditionally performed when a family fears black magic or deliberate harmful ritual directed at them, their home or their business.
Prescribed for restless nights, oppressive dreams and the sense of being watched or weighed down in one's own rooms.
The mantras are chanted for the dwelling itself — its doorways, its children, its elders and those who travel in and out of it.
Hanuman is invoked for nerve. Devotees book this when anxiety has begun to shape their decisions rather than their judgement.
Also turned to by those facing sustained opposition, sharp-tongued adversaries or long-running disputes that drain the mind.

Your ritual is conducted at our own Yagna Ashram — never a rented venue — with temple rites performed across our seven temples in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum; the daily rituals of the 48-day Anushthan are performed with full devotion but are not telecast.
